Its eastern half, the Riviera di Levante, is defined by its rugged cliffs, turquoise coves and pastel seaside towns, including the colorful Cinque Terre fishing villages, as well as stylish resort areas such as Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure.

Malta is a lesser-visited destination on the yacht charter route, making it a perfect Mediterranean gem with a vast history. Just a short cruise from Sicily, the Mediterranean sun follows charters to Malta, where attractive harbours and prehistoric ruins sit alongside the picturesque coves and beaches that are pitted into the coastline. Gozo and Comino are the only other inhabited islands of a total of 21 to discover on the Maltese archipelago, offering up some of the most secluded anchorages and best water sports and dive sites. Malta has beaches for everyone, from windsurfers to sunbathers. Choose from golden sand, red sand, rocks, blue lagoons and even inland seas. Some beaches and rocky shores are off the beaten track, but worth seeking out for their seclusion. Our tip, do not miss a boat trip to Comino's Blue Lagoon for the ultimate in azure water.
